ME AND MY CONSCIENCE
In our life we have few experiences and few are borrowed from others ....this poem is a homogeneous mixture of both....
Me and my conscience born
together,
I look foolish & he looks wise,
He calls me friend but I call him freak,
I killed him thrice and he reborn with rejoice,
When I laugh he laughs with me,
When I cry he laughs on me,
When I want to fight he tells consequences,
But when I fight for me; he fights with me,
As time moves on I am becoming like him,
People r calling me wise; he says “they r calling me”,
Once while we ordering tea ; I sighted her first,
I emptied that mug I don’t know whether it was thirst,
She sat next to me and I didn't even blink,
After a while tea came which I didn't even drink,
She forgot her napkin which was light pink,
I got her no. , which I didn't even think,
He told “ u r getting out of
ur mind”
i replied “ hey kid if u wan go, go. I don’t mind”.
When I was texting her first; he came to meet me again,
He said 'STOP', and I killed him again,
It’s been six months & he never came back,
& it’s been six months I never looked back,
It’s been a six months things r getting worse,
& it’s now six months when I want him back,
When i searched my heart there was darkness and I felt blind,
my subconscious told
me “ he is in ur brain not in ur mind “
I made him free & said “ welcome back to life”,
& he replied “I know, she don’t deserves to be ur wife”
Sometime I think why did I kill him,
& he replies “ its not u its her”.
Everyone has a sound coming from inside,
U have to listen or u gonna pay for that.
